Silly sayings by Jesse

This morning I had Jesse up on my bed and I was putting his socks on, he asked me what I was doing, so I told him that I was getting his socks on. I then asked him what he was doing his reply, "Um, sitting here for a couple of weeks." I told him he was so funny and gave him a kiss and he said "thank you, thank you." Just now he went to wake up his brother and sister, turned the light on in their room, and they a
re in there saying "its too bright". Jesse came back out of the room and said, "I cant wake them up mom, I am not strong enough to wake them up, oh look I am strong enough to read the Bible" (he saw their little Bible on the desk). Last Sunday at Children's Church, the kids were taking about what they want to be when they get bigger, Jesse said "Um, I want to be a triangle."

Lost...and an update on us

I was helping teach a class and happened to be at recess the same time that the boys class was at recess. The boys spend most of their recess playing with each other. They have other kids that play with them as well but they are generally always in the same vicinity. Thursday I looked up and saw Jachin sitting on the gym floor all alone. Suddenly he spotted me in the chaotic crowd of kids and came up to me and said " Mom, I've lost Jesse, I cant find him." One of those moments that you cherish. The kids are doing well. Elizabeth is gearing up for her birthday, I think we are going to shoot for the beginning of December for her party. The boys are silly, and getting sillier everyday. We watched a 5 month old baby one day this week and Jesse helped me feed the baby his bottle. When the baby reached for the bottle while i was burping him, Jesse looked at him and said, "No, stop it, I will give you your bottle." The kids had a lot of fun helping with him, it was rather cute. Joe and I had our first parent teacher conference for Elizabeth about 1 1/2 weeks ago and received her report card. I will post it on here after Joe helps me scan it into our computer.

Faithful Fishies

Elizabeth was given a "faithful Fish" at school in August for walking in the hallway right (hands behind the back, etc). The fish is just a paper fish that is laminated and the teachers write the childs name on the fish with expo and it goes on a board in the hallway. At some point in the month all the fish are collected and one girl name and boy name are drawn at chapel. Elizabeth's name was drawn and this is what she picked as her prize.

Life...

Elizabeth has a dance recital on Saturday and Daddy will not be able to see it but Uncle Peaches is coming to fill in for Daddy and Paka. My other brother also graduates that day so it will be a busy day. Pictures to follow after the recital. On the other hand, there are days where you have to remember that 1. God did fall off His throne 2. Life will be ok, even if your puppy made a mess, your son went potty on you, you were late to work and the cucumbers some how got frozen in the fridge and seemed to have ruined your veggie tray that was for your bosses birthday party, and the fact that you drop your ipad and shatter the front. Again, life can only get better and I have much to be grateful for...including my puppy. :-) Sometimes though I have to stop and remind myself of that.
